4th of July

We had a busy 4th of July! It started with the Jim Felix-Chesterfield Optimist 5K/10K race that Ben is Race director for. We had 90 runners this year. It was a little different as it was cold and rainy! It is usually really HOT! Then we had Optimist Pancakes. They were yummy! Then came home and made yummy Jello Pie. It turned out pretty well! It was red and blue! Then I took a little nap. Then at 4:00 we went to Ben's Aunt and Uncle's Farm for a family get together. Hannah loves to go to the farm because she gets to see the cows! She did plenty of running around, she got to pet a tiny kitten and then got to moo at the cows! She was tired at the end of the day...notice the sleepy eyes in the picture with Daddy on the swing. The other picture is of Gabe. He was having fun today! We didn't make it for fireworks this year. Hannah was asleep. I did see a few that the neighbors were setting off and I watched them on TV....trust me....it's not the same as seeing them in person!
