Hannah Brushing Her Teeth!

We have been brushing Hannah's four teeth after her bath. But Wednesday, she decided to do it herself. So here she is brushing her teeth. She is starting to get another tooth on top. She has been whiny and in pain with it.

My photo!

I am so proud of myself for capturing this photo. I had been snapping away and getting mostly turned heads or somber faces. But this one turned out great! I was so happy! It even follows the rule of thirds (a photography rule)!

Playing with the Water Table!

Hannah loves playing with her water table. Everyday when we get home, she wants to play outside. She is learning to drink out of a real cup, so she practices with anything that looks like a cup....even a fish! She dumped the dog's water dish, so Spot just got a drink out of the table!

Sick Baby!

Hannah isn't feeling well. She is running a low fever about 100. We think she is cutting another tooth or several teeth. She cuddled for her night time bottle and laid down for about 20 minutes. Then she got up and ran around for about 30 minutes. She was playing with the dogs and loving every minute of it. Daddy would cover them with a blanket and Hannah would help them. Spot was having fun and wagging his tail! We *think* he is starting to realize he will soon have a playmate.

As for the bottle, we have her down to just the night time bottle. But I have a feeling totally weaning her is going to be a challenge. Grandma said she asks for it several times a day by saying ba, ba.

Nana's Pillow

Here is a picture of Hannah with the pillow Nana made for her. Mommy stuffed it and finished it.

Playing Outside

Last night, Thursday, Hannah wanted to play outside. She is becoming quite the little outdoors girl. She had so much fun on the swing and kept trying to climb up her little slide.

Vent and my day!

Just so we are clear Hannah is a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so tired of everyone telling me what a cute little boy I have. We went to the library tonight and one of the children's librarian's was shelving book and said "you are getting to be a big guy." I wanted to scream SHE IS A GIRL!!! But I didn't! She was dressed in her princess shirt and pink shoes! You would think people would notice she is dressed in pink or girlie most of the time, but that doesn't seem to matter! I'm just hoping she gets more hair soon so we can make pig tails! O.K. vent over!

On to my day, the second day of preschool:
Morning class: Well I had a little boy have a poopy accident! Oh yay! The one very big downside to my job is cleaning more poop!!! Hopefully, it won't happen to often!!!! But I have a feeling I am going to see a lot of poop this year!
Afternoon class: I have a new student! He is a cutie, he has cerebral palsy and uses a walker. Luckily, he is bright! I was shocked when I noticed he was only 3 because he was speaking in full sentences and very articulate.

Random thoughts!

Hannah had her 15 month doctor appointment last Friday. We had it early because they wanted to schedule it before I went back to school. Hannah was 31 inches tall and 19 lbs. 2 oz. We were hoping she reached 20 lbs. so we could turn her carseat around, but no luck yet!

I started back to school today. Our meetings went fine and the students come tomorrow. I am a little nervous since it is something new, but excited at the same time. I am teaching preschool this year. I will have 3-5 year old special education students. I am starting with 11, but already have had call for 2-3 more!

Messy Face!!!

Here are a few pictures of Hannah enjoying her lunch at Grandma and Grandpa's house. You can see that she is a very messy eater, but was having fun!

More Hannah Pictures!

Hannah having fun!

Here are a few pictures of Hannah playing in her duck! She kept trying to climb out of it when it was in the bathtub, so we took it out. She loves climbing in and out of it!

Drop and Roar Dinosaur

Hannah has rediscoved the Drop and Roar Dinosaur she got for Christmas. She can now put the balls in by herself! She loves to hear the dinosaur roar!

A Day at the Park!

We took Hannah to Shadyside today to play! She loved the swings and the slide!
Here is a video of her enjoying the swings!

We went swimming today!

We took Hannah swimming in a big pool today for the first time. Pam and Ken's neighbor's are on vacation and told them we could use the pool anytime we wanted, so we went today. Hannah had so much fun! She was great about kicking and even put her face in the water a couple of times. We don't have pictures yet, but we will. We took them with a water camera and we have to get the film developed!

Walking Video

Here is a video of Hannah walking. This is my first attempt at using YouTube, and trying to inbed it in our blog. If all goes well we'll post more. The internet is a wonderful thing:)
