Wow!

I realized today that in one month Hannah will turn 3 and 3 months from today is my due date! Yea!

Plus earlier this week was Ben and I's "dating" anniversary! We have been together for 15 years! Kind of amazing!

Spot's Surprise!

Last night I had just gotten in bed to go to sleep. Spot of course thought he needed to be right in between Ben and I. He laid down right next to my belly and got a big kick! He sat up so fast and just stared at my belly like what did you do that for? It was funny! Spot, that is just the baby's way of saying hi!

Such a sweet girl!

For some reason with this pregnancy, I have been having awful dreams and I am also a lot more emotional!!! I thought you were supposed to be more emotional when pregnant with girls???
I haven't been sleeping well and I am just plain tired, so I was crying today....no reason really, and Hannah asked, "Mommy, why are you crying?" I said, "I am okay." Then she came and hugged me, which in turn made me cry harder. Then she did the sweetest thing, she handed me her rattle baby, and said, "feel better." Of course by now, I am a complete mess, because she usually doesn't share this baby. This is her baby that goes EVERYWHERE with her (her lovey) and she knows it makes her feel better, so she wanted mommy to feel better too! I thought it was so sweet and caring for her to do that.

Ben wants me to add a disclaimer that this incident took place before he was home from work and that he is not just some insensitive jerk!

Baby Update

I had my 24 week doctor's appointment today. I lost 4 ounces, my blood pressure was good, and baby's heart rate was in the 150's. I am still measuring 4 weeks ahead, but Dr. Modad is not worried about it at this point.

Finally.....it's Spring!!!!!!!

We have been enjoying the lovely spring weather we have had the last few days. Daddy put the swings back on the swing set, so Hannah has spent lots of time outside. We have also taken a few family walks...yes, the dogs too! Mommy gets much more tired after walks these days and has to take a rest when we get home. Of course, Mommy isn't the only tired one....Daisy is asleep in the recliner snoring away! Hee hee!

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so we will see what is going on with baby. Baby loves to kick now days (and at night when I am trying to sleep!). I think this baby is more active than Hannah was....it could be the position this baby is in....I know Hannah was transverse most of the time and this one is not! Sometimes it feels like the kid must have 8 legs! Ha! And he has great aim when my bladder is full!
