Owen's First Trip to the Zoo

We took Owen and Hannah to the zoo today. It was part of Owen's birthday present from Nana and Papa. Owen loved to look at the animals. I think his favorite animals were the elephants, goats, penguins, and dolphins. Hannah loved everything!

We got to hear one tiger roar and the other one was sleeping.



There was a zoo keeper feeding the birds while we were there. The bald eagle didn't pay any attention to her.

Visiting the snakes. I walked though the snakes while telling Owen that he would NEVER be allowed to have one in my house!
Owen did think they were neat!






Owen loved the dolphin show. He watch the whole thing!











We got to pet this elephant! Owen did too! They feel different than you think they would.

Hannah was able to pet the Scottish Highland Cow.

Owen and Hannah both enjoyed the goats.


Then we had to ride the carousel. We got 2 tickets thinking Ben would need one to, but he didn't, so I was able to take Owen for a ride. He wasn't sure about riding on an animal but he did it!



















Hannah thought the komodo dragons were neat!






After the playground it started raining. We walked the the dolphin pavilion and walked around and then went to the ocean area, but it started raining so hard that we never got the camera back out. So that was our day at the zoo. We got zoo memberships so we will be back!
