Chuck E. Cheese
Hannah had a blast at Chuck E. Cheese on Friday night. We went to celebrate Maria's "7th" birthday. She has a leap day birthday, so this was officially her 7th birthday, even though she is 28. Hannah has asked to go back to Chuck E. Cheese already. She had fun climbing in the tunnels, riding a few rides, and even playing a few games with Daddy.

Wow!
Sniffle, sniffle....my baby is growing up so fast! I was looking back on several older posts and I just can't believe how fast Hannah is growing up! She does like to remind me that she is not a baby, she is a big girl! Hee hee...
Slacker!!!!!!!!
That is the only thing I can say for myself! I think about every other night, gee I should update the blog, but then I don't. So without further ado.....an update!
My last doctors appointment was Feb. 11. Everything with the baby looked good. I am measuring about 2 weeks ahead (I did with Hannah too). Baby's heart rate was in the 140's. They sent me for a blood draw for the quad marker test (it checks for Down's Syndrome, neural tube defects, and other chromosomal abnormalities). I had to be stuck twice! Yuck! But luckily, the test came back negative. So that is good news! So far we seem to be on track for a healthy baby. We have our "big" ultrasound on March 5. We are hoping baby is NOT shy and lets us know what gender it is. Hannah is now saying she wants a baby boy. Of course, her opinion seems to keep flip-flopping! :)
In other news we have started TRYING to potty train Hannah. So far, it not going well! She has peed on the potty twice, but usually wants nothing to do with it. She hates peeing in her pants if she is wearing panties, but would rather wear a pull-up. Last night when I asked if she wanted to sit on the potty she said no, and ran into her room and slammed the door behind her. I followed her and let her play for a few minutes before I asked again. Reluctantly, she asked if I would bring the potty to her. I thought, hey if it gets her to sit on why not! She sat for probably 20 minutes playing with her Lego's the whole time and never did anything! I will accept any advice for you mom's who have been there, done that!

How Sweet!
Hannah was playing with her babies in her bedroom when we noticed how sweet she was being. She put her pillow in for the baby and let baby use "baby doll" and covered her up. She then leaned over and kissed the baby and said "Night, night." Gives me hope she is going to make a good big sister! Please ignore the mess in her room. It has since been cleaned up where you can really see the floor!

Elaine's First Birthday Party
On Saturday, we went to Elaine's first birthday party at AMA. Elaine is the daughter of Eric, a friend of Ben and a co-worker as well. Hannah had fun, but we had a hard time convincing her that she could not open the presents. She loved the cake! Elaine was sleepy by the end of the party...reminded me of Hannah's first birthday!

After over a year of buying parts our new computer is up and running. I wanted something that would be powerful and affordable, so I decided to build it myself. Mainly I wanted to build something that would not need upgrading for at least 5 years. Below are the specs(for those of you who like that sort of thing) and pictures.
Specs:
Intel E8400 3.0 Ghz Processor
Asus P5K-E Wifi AP Motherboard
Corsair 2 Gb DHX Memory

Baby's Third Picture
I had a doctor's appointment today. The nurse tried to find the heartbeat with the doppler, but she could not find it. Dr. Modad likes to always check the heartbeat so she did an ultrasound. Our little one is growing and looking good. Hannah got to see the baby on the screen, she thought that was cool. The baby's heart rate was 169 beats per minute. Dr. Modad said the baby was wiggling all over the place. The head is in the middle of the picture and the body is on the right side. On the plus side, my blood pressure was good 116/70 and I lost 3 pounds. That is probably because I have had yucky all-day sickness.

Always Loved, Always Remembered
It is hard for me to believe that tomorrow marks 5 years since my dad passed away. Where has the time gone? I think about him daily and miss him dearly. I know he would have been crazy about Hannah and would have spoiled her rotten.
Here are a couple of pictures of us together.

Here is a picture from Optimist. It was one of the last things we did as a family before dad went into the hospital.

Flesher Family Update
I have been slacking in my Bloging duties! I just had to take the time to go through the hundreds of pictures taken over the holiday break. I will also confess that I did not get Christmas cards done this year! I was going to do them, but somehow time got away from me! I did a lot of updating tonight, so much in fact it is no longer all on the front page. When you get to the bottom, click on the "older posts" and go back to Playing in the Snow (Dec. 16). That is where the new posts start!
We are doing well! I had an ultrasound the day after Christmas and we got the results back this week that everything with the baby looks good! Yea! We were excited to hear the heartbeat. The baby has grown a little from the first to the second ultrasound.
Have a good weekend!
