Christmas with Mimi and Pawpaw

We had Christmas today at Mimi and Pawpaw's house. Miranda, Chris, and Cavin were there too! Hannah was quite excited about getting to open presents! She has been counting down the days until she can open presents!

Cavin loved playing with the garage!

Hannah gets her very own digital camera! (She already took 130 pictures!)

Owen got the Crawl and Cruise Musical Jungle.

Cavin got a rockin tricycle!

Too much fun! Hannah couldn't stay awake any longer!

Owen finds his voice!

Owen has been babbling for quite some time, but today he realized that it is him making that noise. So today he has been squealing a lot! We have been trying to get him to sleep for about 2 hours, but he's wide awake. He will squeal and then smile and giggle. It's really cute!

Baking Christmas Cookies

Nana and Hannah made gingerbread and sugar cookies.

Baking a cake with Nana

Nana and Hannah make a birthday cake for Baby Jesus.

Hannah loves to lick the beaters and the bowl!

Owen was a good boy! He watched from his high chair!

Santa's Little Helpers

Hannah and Owen have 2 little elves visit them each night. They are named Jingle and Gumdrop. They hide around the house and do little tricks. Tonight they are doing a new puzzle. Hannah has really enjoyed looking for them each morning.

Sick Baby Update

I took Owen to the doctor this morning after I noticed the soft spot on his head looked sunken in. I knew that wasn't good. He has gastroenteritis (basically a stomach virus). They told me to start him on pedialyte and switch to soy formula for now. If he gets worse we might have to admit him to the hospital and give him fluids by IV. We're hoping it does not come to that!

Poor Baby!

Owen is sick! He has been throwing up for a week. It started last Thursday and is still going. We have talked to the doctor's office twice, but they think it is just a virus that has to run its course. He hasn't had a fever, which is why they think it is a virus. We had a good day yesterday with no vomiting, but then has done it twice this morning! So please send healthy thoughts our way! If he continues, I think we will take him to the doctor tomorrow!

Ouch!

I got rear-ended leaving Meijer! I was turning right out of the parking lot, and the guy behind me didn't get stopped in time and hit me. Luckily, no one was hurt. It banged up the left corner panel and my tail light. I was very thankful that I did NOT have the kids with me.

Festival of Trees

Hannah and I went to the Festival of Trees today to see Teddy Bear's Special Christmas. It was at the Paramount Theatre and Ballroom. This was a great way to introduce Hannah to live theater. The show was about 30 minutes long. Hannah did great sitting through the show! We saw dancers from the studio, the Easter Bunny, a Witch, a Turkey, and Santa and a few elves! Of course, Hannah asked where Santa's reindeer were. I told her they must be up on the roof! After the show, we went to the ballroom to look at the trees, and then we went to see Santa. Hannah was ready to go after this because she was tired and it was past nap time! I was very proud of her. She did a great job! We got dressed up to go and she looked so cute. She was wearing her red sparkly shoes (think Dorothy's shoes in the Wizard of Oz) which several people noticed.

Official Christmas Pictures

We had the kids pictures taken today. They did pretty well. I think this first one is the best!
I also like the one of Owen (the second one). They are ok of Hannah, but I think it is more of a "fake" smile, than her real one!

Christmas picture?

We were trying to get a good picture of the 2 kids together. These were the best. Daisy wanted in on the action too!
