Visiting Bolacks

We visited Bolack's Wildlife Museum. They have lots of amazing animals. They have a few live animals- peacocks, ostriches, a bear, and turkeys. Then they have a huge museum of wild animals.

Happy Father's Day

Mom gave Bob a picture with all the grandchild and great-grandchildren. Then we had a cookout with the neighbors. Hannah helped Papa make ice cream. She took the ice cubes from the cooler to the ice cream maker!

Adam's Birthday Party

After shopping we headed to Dan and Sherry's (Bob's daughter) house. They were having a big bash for Adam's (Bob's grandson) 30th birthday. It was great to finally meet some of Bob's family. I feel like I already knew them from all the stories and pictures, but it was nice to put names and faces together!

Hannah is thinking about feeding Whiskey (the dog).

Shopping in Durango

We went shopping in Durango. We had lunch at the Diamond Belle Saloon. They had some really cool shops! Then were got to Thomas! Hannah was excited to see Thomas roll down the track! I jumped out to get a couple of pictures for her!

Shiprock and Four Corners

We drove through Shiprock on our way to Four Corners. It was neat to see how rock formations just appeared out of nowhere.


Four Corners- Where the corners of 4 states meet. The 4 states are New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado meet.

Train Ride

We had an exciting train ride from Durango, CO to Silverton, CO. Hannah was watching out the window for about 30 minutes, then she got sick-twice! It ended up being a long ride with a cranky kid, but the views were amazing! She kept asking if she could swim in the river!

Our Trip to New Mexico

We traveled to New Mexico on June 11. It was a wild trip getting to Albuquerque, but we made it! Our plane in Indy was 45 minutes late getting there, so we almost missed our connecting flight in Dallas-Ft. Worth. They were calling last call as we were running to the gate! I was so glad when we made it safely to New Mexico! We drove to Farmington to Nana and Papa's house. Here are a few pictures of the trike that Papa got for Hannah!

Bathroom Before and After

We knew Hannah's bathroom needed redoing. So we have been thinking about it for awhile. We finally decided to do a Finding Nemo theme because Hannah loves Nemo. It took some time to find all the pieces! The shower curtain was the biggest challenge, but it finally came together.

Block Party

Ben worked the WIPB Block Party helping kids make paper airplanes. Hannah got to meet Cookie Monster and Hooper from PBS. She also played with bubbles, balls, and balloons.
