There was an Australia exhibit upstairs. Hannah liked the kangaroos. She brought everyone of them to Daddy. She also liked the tunnel and ran back and forth in it.

A Car and Some Stairs

Hannah liked the car because it was like a computer, but Hannah LOVED the stairs. We probably spent 25-30 minutes just climbing up and down the stairs. She even had a little friend for awhile. She would go up walk around and come down and just did that over and over again!

Spinners and Climbers

Hannah enjoyed the spinners on the table and climbing on the little climber. It had things inside that you could do, like zippers, puppets, and other things.

Children's Fair

We went to the WIPB-PBS Ready to Learn Children's Fair. Hannah got to meet Molly from The Big Comfy Couch. We also got to see Rachel Coleman from Signing Time preform with Hopkins the frog. Hannah enjoyed the show because it had lots of singing and signing. We learned the colors of the rainbow in sign language. I didn't know those before so it was educational for Mommy too!

Big Shoes to Fill

Hannah found Daddy's slippers and put them on her feet. She tried to walk around in them, but wasn't very successful!

Flying with Daddy

Hannah climbed in one of the baskets and asked Daddy to fly her. Now she loves it!! They fly over Daisy and Spot and Hannah just giggles and giggles. The dogs don't know what to think!

Yummy pizza!

We went to Indy today to check out Costco and go to the Carter's store. We decided to eat at Uno's pizza for lunch. I had the very yummy Schoom pizza. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was very child friendly and had good prices. They had dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets which Hannah thought was cool. She liked eating their heads!!!! The nice thing was they brought her food as soon as it was ready and she didn't have to wait for our pizza's to be done.

We did get Hannah a cute little Easter outfit at Carter's. It is a onesie with a bunny and polka-dot pants in spring colors. Plus she got new socks!!! She was needing those. It's amazing how fast she is growing. It seems like over night her clothes don't fit anymore!

We liked Costco and I think we are going to join after our Sam's Club membership runs out. Ben thinks they have a better selection. We saw a really cool wooden swing set too! Hannah's eyes were great big when we were looking at it, it was cute!

For Your Comparison

Here is the picture of Miranda at 14 months old.
Hannah- 2o months old.
Here is a picture of me in 1978. I was around 2 years old. It's funny, Hannah looks a lot like me, but when we looked at a picture of Miranda (Ben's sister) at about 2, Hannah looks a lot like the Flesher side of the family. I guess she is a good mix of me and Ben!

Thanks Aunt Jo Ann for sending the picture of me and thanks to Pam for letting us scan the picture of Miranda.

Spot Gets Brave!

Spot had been thinking of getting off the deck all day long. About 4:00 he decided to take the plunge. He sank all the way in and had to jump back. He decided it was a bad idea and came back. He had to be dried off and looked so unhappy that he got wet. I know it's not a good picture, but I had to run for the camera and he was back before I could get another one!

Snow Pictures - Feb. 14

Ben and I were both home again today. So we started to dig ourselves out. Ben had about 3 stripes (that had taken 1.5 hours) in the driveway when someone with a plow drove by and dug us the rest of the way out for $15. Ben figures it saved him 2-3 hours of shovel time. Well worth the money!Ben digs out a path for the dogs.
The back garage - notice it is drifted almost a quarter of the way up the door.
This is how tall the snow is on the deck.
The deck and gazebo.

Spot goes out...hmm...should I go off the deck? No way!
