Day out with Thomas
Today we went to Connersville for a "Day out with Thomas." Owen is big into Thomas the Tank Engine so we figured he would have a great time with this. We got to ride on a real train with a full scale Thomas as the engine. There were lots of activities and things for the kids to do.

Red Bull/NEFI Award
My boss surprised me with an award for all the hard work I had been doing over the last two weeks. Check out the pictures.
Astronaut and AMA Ambassador Robert "Hoot" Gibson presenting me the award.
Inscription by Hoot Gibson.
Thanks to all my coworkers who helped me achieve this wonderful and one-of-a-kind award.

Red Bull Air Races NYC
About 3 months ago AMA was asked to be an exhibitor at the NYC Red Bull Air Races, so last weekend I and a few coworkers attended to promote the AMA and model aeronautics. I volunteered to drive 14 hours both ways to get our setup there. It was a long drive, and long days, but so worth it for the AMA and as a personal experience. I never made it into the Manhattan, the races were actually in New Jersey, but that was ok by me. The experience in New Jersey gave me a pretty good glimpse of "big city" life. I'll try to get photos up on flickr and posted here soon.
