Owen's New Toy

Owen got this toy for Christmas from Mimi and Pawpaw. We were waiting until he could sit up on his own really well before we put it together. Daddy put it together today and Owen (and Hannah) had a great time playing with it. We sometimes have to remind Hannah that it is not her toy. Owen has a great time playing with it and he is able to get a ball into the hippos mouth on occasion.

Owen and the Animals!

Hannah had been having fun with Owen. She put all his animals in his crib with him. He seemed to like it!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hannah was excited to see what she got for Valentine's Day! Mom and Dad didn't wrap to fancy! Ha!

She got a new pack of Littlest Pet Shop animals.
Hannah got this bear and these puzzles from Nana and Papa.

Can't believe I'm including this, just don't look at me....Owen got some new clothes!
So we decided to be brave and hit the mall in Indy yesterday. I was needing new pants so I was ready for this shopping trip. Ben decided he wanted to go too! What? He never wants to go shopping! But we ended up having a nice lunch at Joe's Crab Shack. Yummy crab legs! Then hit the mall. We had a nice visit to the Disney Store. We got a few t-shirts for our trip and they were having bogo sales on the stuffed animals. Hannah picked out Wall-E and we got Little Brother (Mulan's dog) for Owen. Hannah also picked out the Ariel dress...but Daddy said no because it was too pricey. I'm hoping they will go on sale sometime before June or maybe it could be her birthday present. I still didn't get my pants! I just want a pair of khaki pants but they were nowhere to be found. Oh well!

Owen's 7 month pictures

Owen turned 7 months old yesterday! I figured we should get back to taking his monthly pictures...we've kinda gotten away from it. It thought these turned out pretty well. Owen has started sitting up by himself, so it makes taking pictures easier! Hannah of course, had to get in on the action!

Optimist Valentine's Party

We had our Valentine Party and auction at Optimist tonight. Maddie and Hannah had a blast playing with Hannah's Littlest Pet Shop pets.

Kay enjoyed holding Owen. He actually fell asleep!

What a weekend!!!

So when I got home from school Friday afternoon I thought the house felt chilly. I looked at the temperature and it was 65, which is lower than what we keep the house at. I punch the temp up a few degrees, but never heard the furnace kick on. We had a repair guy out, but it turns out we need a new furnace! So there goes the tax check!

Then Sunday night, Hannah woke up and she was burning up! She had a 103 degree fever and a funny sounding cough. This morning she woke up with a horrible nose bleed. Ben took her to see Dr. Beahm today and she has croup! She is staying home with Ben again tomorrow, because they are installing the new furnace. Hopefully, her fever will be gone. It has come down, but she still has a fever around 100. We think the nose bleed is just from the dryness in the house.
